21.12 Mastiff Club of Estonia had its traditional Christmas Eve. The results of the competion "Mastiff of the year 2007" were announced (among 11 Mastiff breeds) Ou kennel had some great results too:
"Best Spanish Mastiff 2007" & "Best Junior 2007" II place -
"Best Bullmastif 2007" (females) -
"Best Import Puppy 2007" - II place& "Best Import Junior 2007" III place -
"Best Breeder 2007" - IV place
"Best Mom " - IV koht |

On Saturday, 3rd Nov,I went to Metz to take part in an annual international meeting and conference of Molossian people Le samedi 3 novembre on est allé (Artur- mon fils et moi) à Metz pour assister à une conférence et un rencontre international annuel des éleveurs et spécialistes des Molosses.

After having spent some "compulsory" time in Paris, Franck (Franck Meurice, kennel "Du Mont de l'Aigle", where our Nero is from) took us to his home. Après avoir passé une journée dite obligatoire à Paris, Franck (M. Franck Meurice, élevage "Du Mont de l'Aigle") est venu nous chercher et on est allés chez lui.

Trine & Mastinos Frago - BOB & BIS-III and Farfallina - best female-4, both became FIN CH
Hilja & Bullmastiff Porthos - best male-5
when talking about the results of Bullmastiff veterans we were a bit disappointed - according to the judge none of 6 veterans were good enough to earn "Excellent" and the prize of Honour in order to become BOB-Vet. In our and other Bullmastiff fanciers' opinion every veteran was presented in very good condition and they looked happy, healthy and beautiful.

It was a very special today, firstly - the sister of our beloved Mastin Espanol Ubu who unfortunately passed away at an early age, called UBA joined our family for good. The same eyes, the same expression, the same open and warm character, etc. May be a bit lower and more mature.
Secondly, we met again our dearest ever Mastino Napoletano Frago, and he surely recognized us too :())
It was hot, as always, but still windy and even rainy

12.05 Days agoNethi came into season and we already had chosen the fabulous Red Rock du Mont de l´Aigle to be her finacé. But the destiny had other plans... Plan A: I was about to fly to Paris with Nethi in order to visit Red Rock for the mating reasons. When bying the plane tickets at Estonian Air it turned out that for that particular day when I had to come back the price was extremely high, other companies charge enormously for the dogs ticket... Plan B: With the help of Odile and Arnaud (the owners of Red Rock) and the clinic Maison Alfort we wanted to get the fresh sperm to be sent to Estonia by some fast cargo service. The quickest (!) way would have been around 4 (!!!) days. No way, it would have been too late for us. Odile called to all possible cargo services - Fedex, DHL, TNT, Crono-something..., etc. It just didn´t work out this time, because of some stupid bad luck or coincidence or... Nous voudrons remercier Odile et Arnaud pour toute l´aide et nous sommes vraiment très-très désolés, peut être la prochaine fois nous aurons plus de chance... Plan C: Now we thought about using our Nero, who is a grand-son of Red Rock and looks like him a lot and has the same super character too. Though, he is a bit young, but still already officially can become a dad.
